Can I get a Hearing Aid from the NHS? If so why buy one?
Yes, just see your GP and ask for a referral to the ENT department of your nearest hospital. It may involve a wait of several months, and some people would rather buy one and be fitted within 2 weeks or so. Other people want aids that are virtually invisible which again are really only available privately.
